In an effort to make Fascial Counterstrain maximally accessible, I have applied to be an in network provider for all major medical insurances in the Portland area. If you have insurance, check with them to see if I am in your network and if they will cover this service, or if you have an outstanding deductible or need a prior authorization. If you have questions about this please contact us and we can help you understand your benefits. We are currently not in network for OHP (their choice).

To date, March 2025, we have been accepted by Providence, Regence BCBS, United Healthcare, Cigna, Pacific Source, Oregon DMAP/ Open Card, and Medicare.

What does this mean for you?

Being an in network provider means that I am bound by contractual agreements which dictate customary charges, allowable reimbursements, and patient obligations. I will be charging standard rates for a medical doctor for office visits and for time based manual therapies. I have to charge the same rates to all patients regardless of their plan, but visit charges will vary depending on the treatment.

I will bill out the total to your insurance if I am in network with them. I will later send you the bill for what the insurance company determines to be the patient portion. I urge you to be familiar with your deductible, your co-insurance, and your co-pays in order to estimate what you might ultimately be billed.

I offer a cash-at time of service option which is a 50% discount off of billed rates for anyone who is out of network, or who chooses to not use their insurance ( if, for instance, they have a high deductible).

Billing medical insurance will typically run in the $350--$400 range, so the cash price should run $175-$200.

Please talk to me if you have extenuating circumstances.

If you have booked an appointment and realize you cannot make it, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.
